GeoPilot Privacy Policy

Free extension data
Locations, favourites, history, site rules, movement settings, preview preferences and optional Pro profile data are stored in Chrome local extension storage. GeoPilot does not receive this data.
Website permission
GeoPilot requests a site only when you enable it, or the broad optional site permission when you explicitly enable all-sites mode. The permission is used to change page geolocation and optional timezone or language signals.
Optional online address search
Offline cities, coordinates and map selection do not use the network. If you enable online address search, your query is sent directly to OpenStreetMap Nominatim and may be cached locally for up to seven days.
Google local search preview
GeoPilot opens a Google Search URL containing the query and explicit location, country, language and personalisation parameters. It does not read or modify Google cookies or results.
Optional account and billing
Free use needs no account. When you connect an account, GeoPilot stores your email, display name, a signed product-scoped token and entitlement status locally. The website stores the account and order records required to provide access, support and accounting. Checkout may be handled by Waffo Pancake, PayPal, Creem, or another provider identified before purchase. When Waffo Pancake is shown as merchant of record, it processes payment, tax, receipt, refund, fraud-prevention, and dispute information under its own privacy terms. GeoPilot does not receive or store a full card number or card security code.
Billing records, retention and rights
GeoPilot may store the account link, provider, order or transaction identifier, product, amount, currency, timestamps, verified payment status, refund or chargeback status, and entitlement lifecycle needed to deliver and reconcile Pro access. Account, entitlement, support, security, and signed payment-event records are retained only as needed to provide the service, prevent abuse, meet tax, accounting, and legal obligations, and resolve refunds or disputes; they are then deleted, anonymized, or archived where law requires continued retention. Where applicable law provides these rights, users may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or an objection at [email protected]. Paid and account features are not intended for children under 13.
Data not collected
GeoPilot does not collect browsing history, cookies, passwords, public IP lookups or page content, and does not sell personal data.
Deletion and contact
Uninstalling or clearing extension data removes local settings. To request account deletion or ask a privacy question, email [email protected].
